Suze's PCA is housed in the 126-year-old former Sacred Heart Catholic Church which was gifted to the Center in 1969, and our facilities have served our communities for 51 years. But we are truly “busting at the seams” to support current and expanded programming, especially for youth. While we offer a full theatre season that includes limited Family Theater and youth summer camp experiences that are always at capacity, we have only one stage, one art gallery, no classroom or rehearsal space, and minimal storage. This greatly limits our ability to expand performing and visual art programming, especially for youth, which is a primary driver for expansion.
At the height of the pandemic when our 50th season was dark, we gratefully received an anonymous $3M cornerstone gift that funded an upgrade of the Main Stage to a flexible cabaret design so we could reopen for our 51st season, finish the design for a new 10,000+ sq. ft. multi-use studio theatre building, and plan for construction. Even though we still had a funding gap, we broke ground in July 2021 to control rapidly rising costs due to the pandemic and began to see our vision come alive. Your support to the capital campaign will help to keep the project on track to open on time in September 2022.

Donate, donate, donate! Some people assume that our cornerstone gift was sufficient to fund this project, but the pandemic and rising construction costs dramatically increased the project budget and impacted our bottom line.
